About the Founder, Boris Katz
Boris Katz graduated from St. Petersburg Technical University (Russia) with a MS in electronics. Since 1980 he became a software designer and developer being engaged in many sophisticated projects, such as programming of the nuclear test monitoring systems. A few years later he got involved in the Emergency Hospital analytical project to collect and statistically analyze electro cardiograms of patients with accidental heart attacks. After immigration to the United States in 1991 he worked for the Houston branch of Medical Management.In 1998 Boris founded Apex Medical Systems to provide medical practices with Electronic Medical Records and Practice Management software. He became involved in developing software which complemented the basic Medinformatix software. A few years later Apex Medical Systems merged with Davlong Business Solutions, LLC where Boris was leading a group of software developers.
In 2009 Boris founded Integrated Business Intelligence Solutions, LLC with a team of software developers, business and clinical analysts with many years of professional experience.
