Electronic Medical Assistant
Electronic Medical Assistant (EMA) is an add-on program for the MedInformatix EMR. It takes advantage of collected patient data and physician practice patterns to increase the quality and efficiency of care. EMA adds many features and has a convenient user friendly interface providing complete compatibility with the base EMR. Diagnoses, orders, charges, health maintenance history and lab results - all can be efficiently entered and manipulated. EMA is designed to gather and display information that is clinically relevant and to automate workflow minimizing the need for physicians to perform repetitive tasks. EMA follows established “Best Practice” rules and allows definition of custom practice and individual provider specific rules. These rules being applied to the patient data along with individual statistics take automation and assistance provided by the computer to a new level.
